Bioscience and Medicine

This Sunset Park High School pathway is a specialized track that allows students to eclipse standard graduation requirements and enroll in additional healthcare focused courses, including Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology. This unique program integrates a Certified Medical Assistant track with additional coursework in diagnostic medicine. Coursework includes clinical, experiential learning, which will prepare students to take the required examinations for licensure. Participants gain hands-on experience through internships in local healthcare facilities and receive tailored support for college and career planning in medicine. With access to dedicated resources, mentorship from healthcare professionals, and practical training, students are well-prepared to pursue advanced studies and careers in the medical field.
