Maritime and Sustainability

This Sunset Park High School pathway offers students a unique opportunity to take part in the exciting changes happening along the Sunset Park waterfront. Students will engage in specialized courses focused on vessel operations and wind turbine manufacturing. Students will take courses in maritime studies, environmental science, basic seamanship, as well as welding and fabrication. These programs will open the door to exciting maritime career opportunities. Upon graduation, students will have completed the necessary training for various vessel-related jobs and gain valuable experience in both maritime operations and sustainable technology. This program prepares students for careers in the maritime industry while also laying a foundation for exciting post-secondary opportunities.
